Yolanda Ann Norris, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born on March 12, 1973 in Elkhart, Indiana to Patricia Ann Howell.
She is survived by: her children Tabatha (Max) Miller, Jake(Haley) Norris, and Zach(Angelica) Norris; grandchildren Allison, Kaedan, Logan and Amary; sisters Sonya Cowan, Tonya (Ronnie) Eastman, and Janet Leach; sister-in-law Jeannie Chadwell and many nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her sister Tina Smith, her brother Robert Hiner, her mother Patricia Howell and her husband Marty Norris.
Yolanda loved to travel especially taking trips to Tennessee and the beach. Yolanda also enjoyed attending auctions at Peddlers Village, spending time with her daughter and family, as well as baking, especially fudge around the holidays. Yolanda loved to shop and had an incredible knack for gift giving and always found the perfect thing for each and every person she loved.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 29,2025 from 2-6p.m. The celebration will be held at the Schrock Pavilion inside Shanklin Park located at 411 W Plymouth Avenue, Goshen, Indiana 46526.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
