Wanda L. Stump, age 94, of Greencroft, formerly of Nappanee, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 7:15pm at Goshen Hospital. She was born on February 21, 1930 to Ralph Everest and Gladys Stark in Millersburg, IN. Wanda graduated from New Paris High School and later married Carl Owen Stump on October 28, 1949 in New Paris, IN. He preceded her in death May 18, 2022. Wanda was a dedicated housewife and mother, and was a member of the Union Grove Brethern in Christ Church She is survived her children, Devon (Connie) Stump, Daryl (Jill) Stump, Duane (Cheryl) Stump, and Doyle (Ann) Stump all of Nappanee, IN; Doreen (Jeff) Warren of Martinsville, IN; grandchildren, Kari (Kyle) Bailey, Nikki (Jeremy) Grueser, Trent (Mandy) Stump, Daneé Miller, Jeremy (Kaley) Stump, Heather (Brandon) DeArmond, Abbi (Byron) Bauer, Bobbie Sims, Brittany (Travis) Rowland, Hanna (Brock) Bemiller, Luke (Noelle) Stump, and Jacob Stump; and 25 great grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son, Dennis Stump; brothers, Thane Everest, Kenneth Everest, Bruce Everest, Boyd Everest, George Everest, Herbert Everest, Loyal "Ned" Everest, Dean Everest; and sister Dorothy Simpson. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7th from 10am-12pm and 1-2pm with a funeral service starting at 2pm, all at the Union Center Church. Burial will take place at Union Center Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Jeremy Grueser, grandson-in-law. Memorial Contributions can be made in Wanda's name to World Missionary Press or the Adult and Teen Challenge Northern Indiana of Elkhart.
