She was born on Oct. 25, 1922, in Elkhart County, to Elmer T. and Anna (Miller) Miller.

On Nov. 11, 1943 in Elkhart County she married Daniel H. OR Beachy, Daniel died August 25, 2019.

Surviving are daughter, Wilda Mast of Millersburg; four sons, Elmer (Rosetta) Beachy of Goshen, Richard (Ruby) Beachy of Texas, Lavern (Joan) Beachy of Goshen, Wilmer (Naomi) Beachy of Wolcottville; four xxxs, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, bonus three grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Mae (Vernon) Troyer of Middlebury; . She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel H. Beachy, father, Elmer T. Miller, mother, Anna Miller, daughter-in-law, Deb Beachy, son-in-law, Ron Mast, brother, Alvin Miller, sister, Laura Kuhns, sister, Polly Yoder, sister, Katie Schlabach, sister, Leanna Bontrager. Viola was a homemaker and a charter member of Woodlawn Church. She was a skilled seamstress, having designed and making her daughter's wddding dress. She specialized in altering men's store bought suit coat collars to clerical collars. Viola also made many quilts with all of her children and grandchildren receiving at least one of them. She had many jobs at home including ironing and altering clothers for people.
