Middlebury, IN - Trenton Cole Miller, 16, of Middlebury, (district: 60), died at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at his residence, following a courageous two-year battle with brain cancer.
He always had a positive attitude and strong faith throughout his journey.
Trenton was a very compassionate person, always caring about the other person.
He was born on May 25, 2009, in Goshen, to Terry Lee and Josephine (Mast) Miller.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Josephine and John Troyer of Middlebury; brother, Joshua Marc (Eva) Miller of Shipshewana; grandparents, Melvin P. and Mary Ann Miller of Middlebury, Gerald and Marilyn Mast of Goshen, Ray and Dorothy Troyer of LaGrange; special care givers, Lavern, Barb and Dorcas Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father; infant brother, Tyler Lynn Miller; and grandmother, Martha Miller.
Trenton worked at E & S Sales in Shipshewana.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 and all day Friday, Jan. 9 at the Mark Bontrager residence, 0160 S. 1150 W., Middlebury.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the same residence.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Glen Yoder and the home ministers of the Old Order Amish Church.
Burial will be in Miller-Glick-Stutzman Cemetery,
Middlebury. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
