Elkhart, IN - Tonia Kidd, 86, passed away on June 4.

She was born on May 25, 1940, in Stanislauchick, Ukraine, to Ivan and Fedora "Dora" (Demerza) Zahursky.

Tonia is survived by her son, Steve Borzeniatow; her grandchildren, Shera Hershberger, Dalton Roose, Mason (Melissa) Borzeniatow, and Megan (DeVon) Johnson; her sisters, Zina (Bill) Smith and Nadia (Bill) Wegehoft; seven great-grandchildren, with one more eagerly anticipated; as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Borzeniatow Jr.; her grandson, Steven Borzeniatow; and her sister, Nina Zahursky.

A talented and hardworking woman, Tonia was self-employed as a painter for many years.

She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church; and found great joy in expressing her creativity through art.

A gifted artist with a green thumb, Tonia took pride in her gardens and enjoyed creating beauty wherever she could.

She loved traveling, exploring new places, and, above all, spending time with her family.

Her warmth, creativity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Tonia will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, followed by a Panakhida service at 5 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday, June 15, at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Goshen.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
