Elkhart - Thomas Edward Ruhling of Elkhart passed away in Goshen on Thursday, August 17, after an extended illness.
Tom was born March 20, 1937 in Elkhart to Paul and Winifred (Reames) Ruhling.
Tom is survived by his children, Michele (Jeff) Radkey of Middlebury, Michael (Julie) Ruhling of Jonesville, MI and Marc Ruhling of Goshen; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, from 6-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 405 W Beardsley Ave, Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Tom DeFries officiating.
A Private Burial will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Elkhart County Humane Society, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and/or Heart to Heart Hospice.
