Susan Kay Schrameyer, age 80, of Goshen, went home to Jesus on April 3, at her residence surrounded by family.

She will be remembered for her generosity, faith and beautiful smile

She was born Aug. 19, 1944 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Vernon and Virginia Lieding.

On July 29, 1961, she married Robert R. Schrameyer in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

He survives along with their three children, Laura Schrameyer, Plymouth, IN, Robert B. (Robin) Schrameyer, Albion, MI, and Christopher (Jamie) Schrameyer, Plymouth, IN; 11 grandchildren, Brooke (Nathan Schrink) Benjamin, Cody (Allasyn) Benjamin, Alexander (Jessica) Schrameyer, Brandon (Catie) Schrameyer, Garrett, Amber, Lucas, and Calvin Schrameyer, Jordan (Candice) Schrameyer, Alexis (Nate) Hicks and Landon Schrameyer; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda (Dirk) Dulmes, Grayslake, IL, Mary (Tom) Osieczanek, Perry, GA and Elizabeth Luce, Fremont, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dennis Lieding.

Susan was in the class of 1962 at North High School in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

She worked for Goshen Hospital, in various departments for a total of 34 years.

After retiring in 2013, she became a volunteer in the hospital gift shop a year later.

She left a mark on everyone she met due to her kindness and hospitality. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be missed immensely.

Services will be held Monday, April 14, at Faith Lutheran Church, Greene Road, where she was a member. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Jessica King will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
