Stanley Craig Hutchison


Stanley Craig "Stan" Hutchison, 57, Leesburg, passed away at 2:16 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born Aug. 31, 1961, in Goshen, to Harold H. and Nancy Jean (Roth) Hutchison.
He was a lifetime Elkhart and Kosciusko County area resident and attended Fairfield High School.
He was married April 2, 2002, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to Kelly J. (Barth) Leer, who survives.
He was formerly employed at Borkholder Buildings & Supply in Nappanee for 30 years and at a veterinary poultry supply company.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Millersburg and formerly attended the Silver Street Mennonite Church in Goshen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Hutchison, Leesburg; stepdaughter, Chelsea Leer, Fort Wayne; three stepsons, John Leer, Syracuse, Robert Leer, Milford, and Cody (Tiffany Jeffries) Leer, Syracuse; three step-grandchildren; his parents, Harold and Nancy Hutchison, Goshen; three sisters, Debbie S. (Peter) Garber, Syracuse, Cathy J. (Greg) Yoder, New Paris, and Lisa A. (Steve) Kammerdiener, Millersburg; eight nieces and nephews; and six great- nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Dwayne Runkle of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, New Paris, officiating.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, 200 High Park Drive, Goshen, IN 46526.
