Milford, IN - Sharon Kay Shaver, 85, died Friday, June 13, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Aug. 6, 1939 in Goshen to Warren and Gladys (Lewallen) Berlin.
On April 9, 1961, she married James Shaver in Goshen.
He survives along with two sons, Jeffery Shaver, Milford and Gregory J. (Robin) Shaver, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Archie and Truman; and sisters, Peg Ervingham, Elkhart and Pat Miller, Buffalo, Wyoming.
Sharon along with her husband, Jim owned and operated Shaver's Stop and Shop, Waterford for many years.
She is a former member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen.
A creative person, Sharon enjoyed painting portraits and decorating for holidays.
She also enjoyed traveling and reading when she had the time.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
No other services will take place.
Memorial gifts in Sharon's honor may be directed to the Humane Society of Elkhart County or the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County.
