Wakarusa, Indiana - Shane Roy Oberholzer, 54, Wakarusa, died at 10:22 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 15, 1971, in Elkhart, to Daryl and Karen (Martin) Oberholzer.
He married his beautiful wife, Beth (Oyler) Oberholzer in 1988.
Surviving are his wife, Beth; 5 children, Courtney Oberholzer, Wakarusa, Alexa (Jeremy) Stahl, Wakarusa, Blaine (Christine) Oberholzer, Milford, Amber Oberholzer, Modesto, California and Lance (Janessa) Oberholzer, Wakarusa; 8 grandchildren, Colson, Maverick, Easton, Scarlette, Brooklyn, Destiny, Bryson, and Carly Ann; his parents, Daryl and Karen Oberholzer, Nappanee; his siblings, Tavia (Kenton) Brubacher, New Paris, Sayre (Carrie) Oberholzer, Ohio; in-laws, Everett and Nancy Oyler, Wakarusa; and a brother-in-law, Richard (Nancy) Damm, Wakarusa.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Harold Ray and Verla Jean Martin; Roy and Nora Oberholzer; and a sister, Twyla Damm.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, he was the owner and operator of Martin's Custom Butchering.
He was a member of Twin Oaks Old Brethren Church.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Cornerstone Mennonite Church, 24546 CR 44, Nappanee, Indiana 46550.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, Indiana 46550. Home Ministry will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery.
