Dalton, OH - Ruth Good, of Dalton, Ohio passed peacefully away in her sleep on June 19.

She was born in Elkhart County, Indiana on Oct. 29, 1943 to the late Irvin and Bertha (Martin) Martin.

On June 26, 1965, she married Milton R. Good, son of the late Elmer and Esther (Good) Good.

They shared over 58 years together before his death in 2023.

She accepted Christ as her Saviour and was member of the Mennonite church all her life.

Surviving are her three sons and six daughters, Dorinda (Michael) Danner, Tunas, Missouri; Denise (the late Clifford) Steiner, Dalton; Lavonne (David) Fox, Shiloh; Judith Good, Dalton; Benjamin Good, Versailles, Missouri; Jean (Aaron) Fox, Versailles, Missouri, Karen (Dallas) Rhodes, Dalton, Richard (Bethany) Good, Dalton, and Irvin Good, Dalton; 35 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five brothers and four sisters, Glenn (Carolyn) Martin, Nappanee, Indiana, Elam (Judy) Martin, Richland Center, Wisconsin, MaryAlice Martin, Nappanee, Indiana, Dorothy (Melvin) Shaum, Snover, Michigan, Norma (Raymond) Zimmerman, Snover, Michigan, Berdine Ramer Shirk, New Paris, Indiana, Irvin (Velma) Martin, Nappanee, Indiana, Wayne (Elsie) Martin, Snover, Michigan, and Larry (Danette) Martin, Goshen, Indiana; one brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Clifford Steiner; a granddaughter; sister, Agnes Reynolds; and brothers-in-law, Cecil Reynolds, Merle Ramer, and Paul Shirk.

She was a nurse's aide in the hospital prior to her marriage.

She served along with her husband in his 1-W service at Kokomo, Indiana before they settled near Dalton as dairy farmers.

Mom enjoyed cooking, gardening, and helping along on the farm.

Together she and Dad showed hospitality to countless visitors.

In later years she passionately created scrapbooks, preserving family memories and history.

We will remember her creativity shown in a wide variety of talents.

Services were held on June 24.
