Nappanee, IN - Rosemary "Rose" Mullet, age 73 of Nappanee, died on Saturday morning, June 20, at her residence after a battle with Parkinson's Disease.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1952 in Elkhart, to Dan and Mary (Mullett) Yoder and lived her entire life in the Nappanee area.

On Dec. 31, 1971, Rose married Larry Mullet at Bourbon Chapel.

Rose delivered newspapers and worked as an interior decorator. She wallpapered for Heckaman Homes and later Schrock Homes for many years.

She later owned her own business, Everlastings home interior shop, in Nappanee for 8 years.

Rose and Larry attended Nappanee Missionary Church for many years; and Rose served the congregation by decorating the church for Christmas for several years.

Rose loved to decorate her home and adorn her flower beds outside.

She was known for her cooking and baking of treats for family and friends.

Rose helped decorate for several weddings.

She loved her 7 years wintering in Sarasota, Forida during retirement.

Above all else, Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved attending all her children and grandchildren's events when she was able. She was their biggest fan.

Rose is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Larry Mullet of Nappanee; 3 children, Rod (Terrie) Mullet of Nappanee, Todd Mullet of Nappanee, and Nicci (Tyler) Sloat of Goshen; 5 grandchildren, Toby, Caroline, and Max Mullet and Eva and Annaleece Sloat; 4 siblings, Jean (Howard) Miller of Nappanee, Lorene (Ed) Raber of Berlin, Ohio, Danny (Pat) Yoder of Goshen and Wayne Yoder of Nappanee.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; and 4 siblings, Enos Yoder, Betty Mast, Delores Miller and Larry Yoder.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, from 4-8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and on Wednesday, June 24, from 9-10 a.m. at the Nappanee Missionary Church.

A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nappanee Missionary Church with Pastor Dave Engbrecht officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of Rose's caregivers over the last several years. They appreciate all the loving care Rose received.

Memorial contributions in Rose's name can be given to St. Joseph County Center for Hospice Care.
