Shipshewana, IN - Rose Marie Yutzy, 78, of Shipshewana (district: 44), died at 6:25 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1947 in Hicksville, Ohio, to Amos P. and Leona Mae (Shrock) Yoder.

On May 26, 1966, in Hicksville, Ohio. she married Perry R. Yutzy. He survives. They lived in holy matrimony for 59 years, 9 months and 9 days.

Survivors in addition to her husband are three daughters, Kathern (Mervin) Miller of Shipshewana, Leora (Marion) Stutzman of Nappanee, Barbara Yutzy of Shipshewana; six sons, Nathan (Ruth) Yutzy of Millersburg, Lloyd (Jolene) Yutzy of Shipshewana, Perry, Jr. (Rose) Yutzy of Howe, Ivan (Waneta) Yutzy of Shipshewana, Mervin (Wanita) Yutzy of Howe, Paul (Mary Sue) Yutzy of Shipshewana; a grandson, Lamar Yutzy of Shipshewana; 53 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jo (James) Miller of Hicksville, Ohio, Marlene (Freeman) Miller of Topeka, LeAnna (Floyd) Bontrager of Topeka; four brothers, Amos (Mark) Yoder of Hicksville, Ohio, Vernon (Lydia) Yoder of Topeka, LaVern (Vera) Yoder of Shipshewana, Wayne (Marilyn) Yoder of Middlebury; three stepsisters, Vera (Ernest) Bontrager of Millersburg, Rosetta (Cletus) Miller of Batesville, Arkansas, Nettie (Devon) Miller of Shipshewana; stepbrother, Glen (Sylvia) Miller of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Freda Marlene Yoder; two brothers, Paul Yoder, and an infant Thomas Yoder; a sister, infant Kathryn Yoder.

Rose was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation was after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, and all day Monday, March 9, at the Ivan Yutzy residence, 2320 N 700 W, Shipshewana.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Jeremy Lambright and the home ministers.

Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
