Goshen, Indiana - Rosalie Ann Vanover Woods, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Monday morning, July 28.
We know she is happy and no longer in any pain. Pain that had been a significant part of her daily life for the past several years.
Rosalie spent a rather quiet life in her hometown of Goshen, Indiana where she was born July 1, 1961 to Orville "Ray" and Margaret (Chester) Vanover, both deceased. She was her father's pride and joy, and he most always referred to her as "my little rosebud."
Rosalie enjoyed playing video games with her family. She loved her pets with a passion, especially her dog, Casper... we definitely have to mention him.
She loved her family fiercely, and her enduring love for them will not be forgotten; and as her nieces and nephews will tell you, "She was THE best AUNT ever!!!".
Rosalie enjoyed working for the Elkhart County Sheriff Department, where she worked as a jail officer for several years.
Rosalie is survived by her husband, Randy Woods; and their son, Joshua; and a granddaughter, Ryleigh Creswell.
She grew up with five siblings. Her older brothers, Mac and Danny Vanover, are both deceased.
She is also survived by two sisters, Susan Lynn Mork, her favorite telephone pal, of Michigan, and Laura Jayne (Joel) Zentz of Elkhart; a younger brother, and favorite playmate growing up, Timothy Vanover of Montclair, New Jersey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, no public service will be held as this time.
Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayer, and please feel free to send your love and condolences with a card, if you so choose.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
