ELKHART Raymond E. Zook, 78, passed away March 28, 2018 at the Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born Feb. 15, 1940 in Elkhart to Henry and Clara (Cook) Zook Sr.
On June 17, 1960 in Elkhart he married Carol Sloan. She survives along with three children: Ray Zook, Robbie Zook, Randy (Tammy) Zook, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings: Rose Cavander, Henry (Barbara) Zook Jr., and Sandy (Tom) Karmalinski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and six sisters.
Raymond worked at Conn-Selmer for more than 47 years in various positions until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, playing darts, taking care of his yard and listening to Elvis.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday, April 2, 2018 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.
