Philip G. Bowser Jr., 71, passed away, Monday, March 3, on hospice at Goshen Hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer.

He was born Aug. 8, 1953 in Indianapolis to Dr. Philip G. Bowser Sr. and Katherine "Toddy" (Kixmiller) Bowser. They preceded him in death.

On May 6, 1979, he married Sandra K. Kime.

She survives along with three children, Phil (Ashley) Bowser, Fishers, Steven (Kelly) Bowser, Goshen and Kelli Nazareno, Fremont California; six grandchildren, Luca, Gabby, Lola, Bella, Natalie and Zuri; and two brothers, John (Tena) Bowser, Goshen and Dr. Thomas (Donna) Bowser, Erie, Colorado.

Phil worked at Goshen Hospital for 30 plus years as a surgical technician.

He had many interests. He enjoyed collecting antiques and he loved cooking, listening to music and playing guitar.

Phil's favorite title was that of being "grandpa" to his grandchildren and spending time with them.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate.
