Goshen, IN - Nancy Jane Saylor, 85, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away on March 31, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1940, in Topeka, Indiana, to Iris Ray and Florence (Yoder) Fought.

On December 21, 1962, she married Donald Saylor in Goshen. He survives, along with their son, Steve (Jackie) Saylor of Goshen; two granddaughters, Allison Saylor and Megan Hicks; and one great-granddaughter, Margot Hicks.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Pauline Truex, Hilda Adair, Betty Riedel, Geraldine Gloor, Gerald Fought, Don Fought, Richard Fought, James Fought, Kenneth Fought, Leon Fought, and Shirley Oswald.

She was a graduate of Goshen High School and a lifelong country music fan. Nancy and Donald were married at Plymouth United Church of Christ, where they shared the beginning of a life centered around family. She found great joy in being a grandmother and cherished time spent on family vacations. Nancy also enjoyed collecting Boyds Bears and had a love for garage sales—both hosting them and searching for treasured finds.

Private services will take place with burial at New Paris Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Waterford Crossing or Goshen Hospice.
