Michael K. Alexander Obituary

Goshen, IN - Michael Kent Alexander, 82, died Nov. 28, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born on May 2,1943, in Goshen, to Gilbert F. Alexander and Edna M. Leatherman (later Troyer).

He was a 1961 graduate of Goshen High School, and spent a short stint in the United States Army.

He worked as a trim carpenter at Ancon Construction, for more than 16 years. He worked part-time at the Goshen Menards, and sold antique items on Ebay for several years.

He enjoyed Notre Dame football, rhubarb custard pie, and supporting his granddaughter in all her activities.

He was proud of earning his private pilot's license, and collected World War II memorabilia (and other interesting antiques).

He is survived by his ex-wife, Sharol Watkins, White Pigeon, Michigan; his daughter, Christie, Goshen; his son-in-law, Scott Paxton, Goshen; his son, Scott, Tucson, Arizona; and his granddaughter, Regan, Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Alvin M. Troyer; and his sister, Mary Ann Kray.

Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral.

Cremation will take place through Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, followed by a private family service.
