Mary L. "Mazie" Pegg, 91, of Bristol, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
Mary was born August 26, 1930 in White Pigeon, MI to the late Roy T. and Pearl (Rosebrook) Holding.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, John Holding, Harold Holding and Roger Holding.
On September 25, 1955, Mary married Lyle W. Pegg in Goshen, IN. Lyle died on January 21, 2020.
Surviving is a daughter, Cindy M. Corbin Olson of Sunset, LA; a son, Edward W. Pegg of Bristol, a sister-in-law, Fern Cox of Elkhart; four grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mazie was a charter member of the Genealogical Society of Elkhart, the Mintdale Women's Club of Klinger Lake and the Meadow Wood Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint as well as spending time with her family.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Ricky Morgan, a family member, will officiate services.
Mary will be laid to rest next to Lyle at Rice Cemetery in the Memories Mausoleum.
