Mary M. Kehr
Mrs. Kehr was born March 14, 1922, in South Bend, to Theodore and Frances (White) Keller.
Living in LaGrange since 1956, she was a homemaker. From 1939 until 1956, she worked as a bookkeeper for Freeman's in Sturgis, Michigan.
Mrs. Kehr was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, LaGrange.
On Nov. 22, 1955, in Sturgis, she married Ralph V. Kehr. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 2014.
Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Diane and Vince Matisko, Appleton, Wisconsin, Louise Kehr, LaGrange, and Denise Kehr, Goshen; four grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Kimberly Matisko, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Elizabeth Matisko, Fond-du-lac, Wisconsin, Andrew Matisko, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Melissa and Devin Carter, Elkhart; and four great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Schrock and Patricia Smith.
Visitation will take place Thursday, April 26, from 5-7 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. There will be a 7 p.m. Rosary to end the visitation.
A Funeral Mass will take place Friday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 050 N. 100 East, LaGrange. Father J. Steele, CSC, will officiate the Mass.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
Masses may be made to the church in memory of Mrs. Kehr.
