Marjorie Louise (White) Kern, 92, died Monday, June 6, at 9:15 p.m. at her residence in Elkhart.
Ms. Kern was born July 8, 1925 in Disco, to Floyd L. and Doris (Tate) White. She loved to travel, go garage saling and was an avid bird watcher. One of her greatest joys was having all of her family together. We were blessed to have shared these many years with her.
She is survived by five daughters, one son and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Grahn and Linda Miller, both of Elkhart, Anita Allen of Le High Acres Florida, Patricia Clayborn of Van Wert, Ohio, Susan Cataldo and Mike (Kelly) Cataldo, both of Elkhart.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place. Graveside services and burial of ashes will be Saturday, July 9, at 11 a.m. at Olive Cemetery in rural Elkhart.
