Goshen, IN - Marilyn M. Hay, 89, died on Sunday, Feb. 22, at Goshen Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1936 in Rochester, New York to Raymond T. and Beatrice (Peck) Maston.

On Sept. 4, 1975, she married George W. Hay III. He died on Oct. 21, 2014.

Surviving is a daughter, Lisa (Robert Galloway) Miller, Goshen; a son, Thomas Kortie, Indianapolis; a stepson, Matt (Debbie) Hay, Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband George, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Mark S. Hay.

Marilyn graduated from Marjorie Webster Junior College, Washington D.C. and worked at the Walter Reed Veteran's Hospital prior to coming to Indiana. She worked locally for Salem Insurance Agency for 15 years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen and past member of Maplecrest Country Club, Tri-Kappa Sorority, and Goshen Library Club.

Marilyn stayed active playing golf and was an avid bowler in several leagues at Maple City Bowl.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, Feb. 28, also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
