Goshen, Indiana - Marie I. VanderReyden Miller, 95, Goshen, died at 10:07 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at her home.

She was born on July 5, 1930, in Goshen, to Clyde and Neva (Dewey) Mann.

On Aug. 9, 1947, she married John L. VanderReyden; and he died May 22, 2000.

Then in 2009, she married Ronald Miller; and he died in 2017.

Surviving are her children, Sandy (Bill) Lowe, Bristol, Julie (Mike) Nordin, Syracuse, Steve (Debbie) VanderReyden, Syracuse and Jane Ciriello, Syracuse; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husbands, John & Ronald; 2 grandchildren, Tracy Current and Joshua Greene; brother, Clyde "Jimmy" Mann Jr.; and a sister, Marilyn Baker.

Marie was a homemaker and also worked at Waterford Elementary School.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, and later attended English Lutheran Church, Goshen.

In addition to volunteer work, she liked to read, walk and shop. Her yard and flowers were important to her.

Marie was a devoted mother who was very strong and handled herself with great dignity and class.

There will be no services at this time while the family grieves privately.
