Lois Fern Hahn

Lois Fern Hahn, 93, Goshen, formerly of Wakarusa, died 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Elkhart County, to William Edward and Edith (Hunsberger) Marks.
On Dec. 21, 1963, she married Willis Hahn. He died Jan. 29, 2001.
Surviving are step-daughters, Phyllis (Wilmer) Miller Martin, Sarasota, Florida, and Waterloo, Canada, Miriam (Michael) Shaffer, Mishawaka; step-son, Maynard L. (Marilyn) Hahn, Wakarusa; brother-in-law, Kenneth Eckert, Osceola; six step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Willis; brothers, Lowell Marks and Clyde Marks; sisters, Grace Davidhizar, Ruth Davidhizar, Leona Eckert, Ethel Hahn; and a step-son-in-law, Joseph Miller Jr.
Lois was a 1944 graduate of Wakarusa High School, a 1948 graduate of Goshen College and a member of Olive Mennonite Church. She was a missionary to Ethiopia and a teacher in Ethiopia and Wa-Nee School district in Locke and Harrison Elementary.
Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, with the service following at 10:30 a.m., all at Olive Mennonite Church, 61081 C.R. 3, Elkhart. Pastors Bob and Enid Schloneger will officiate.
Burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) or Eastern Mennonite Board of Missions.
