Sundance, Wyoming - L. Ray Stutzman, 90, of Sundance, formerly of Fort Wayne and the Goshen, Indiana, area died on Tuesday Jan. 27, in Sundance.

He was born Jan. 8, 1936, to Levi and Katie (Bontrager) Stutzman.

On Aug. 16, 1957, he married Sarah (Huber).

He is survived by his son, Ty (Carol) Stutzman, Sundance; his daughter, Tracy (Randy) Brown, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Macee (Nicholas) Stocker, Mandee (Caleb) Moeller, Hudson Brown, Harrison (Shawnee) Brown; step-grandchildren, Andi Grine, Carlie Grine, Jake Grine, great-grandchildren, Matthew Moeller, Remi Moeller, Mavin Moeller, Lucy Brown; step-great-grandchildren, Riley, Rogan, Pearl, Kade and Zane. Also surviving are siblings, Vern Stutzman, Mel Stutzman, Elmer Stuzman and Glenn Stutzman, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Preceeding him in death are his wife, Sarah; parents, Levi and Katie Stutzman; brothers, Leon and Leroy Stutzman.

Ray was a kind and generous man who loved the Lord, family, the mountains and adventures.

He worked many occupations in his adult life as a barber, a new car salesman, which he loved and won many awards, but most of his life he was a trucker.

He owned several of his own trucks and drove for numerous different companies, receiving the million-mile award, but ultimately exceeded more miles that that. Ray was proud to have driven through all of the 48 continental states, plus Alaska and Canada. The job he loved the most was hauling new farm equipment, which took him back to his roots of growing up on a farm.

Ray also transported RVs across the nation with his wife, Sarah, throughout the years.

He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Sarah, on weekend getaways. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His many hobbies included skiing and hunting when he was younger and going to the tractor pulls at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana, as he loved old farm equipment.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Rieth, Rohrer & Ehret Funeral Home at 311 S. Main St., Goshen, Indiana 46526, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., which will be officiated by Associate Pastor Josh Hilty of Brenneman Missionary Church.

Burial will follow in Violett Cementary at 2818 Violett Road, Goshen, Indiana.
