Lera Reinholt, 89, of Syracuse, passed away at her home on June 15.
She was born on June 1, 1935 in Monterey, IN to Ralph & Lillian (Wilson) Ludwig.
She moved to the area in 1964 coming from Winamac.
She was a school teacher for Wawasee Schools.
She was a longtime member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, member of Naomi Circle, Ladies of the Round Table, Wawasee Education Association, National Education Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and Kosciusko Federated Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheree Ann (Lee) Riggen, son, James (Marsha) Reinholt; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, June 21, at 12 noon at the Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service from 10 to noon.
Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
