Elkhart, Indiana - Kris L. Sorg, 73, of Elkhart, passed away on Jan. 25, at Elkhart Meadows.

He was born on June 15, 1952. He was the son of Jim Fry and Ruth I. (Lumm) Fry.

Kris later married Nancy Sorg, who preceded him in death in 2017.

Kris is survived by his children, Eric (Nickie) Sorg of Goshen; and Laura Sorg of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy; his parents; his brother, Kirk; and sister-in-law, Becky; and his sister, Joan Burns.

Kris worked in construction as an office manager for many years.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Goshen; and a graduate of Goshen High School.

He will be remembered for his steady work ethic, quiet strength, and dedication to his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 13, at the GPS Pavilion at 1212 W Plymouth Ave, Goshen, Indiana 46526. Please join between 12 and 4 to hear stories and celebrate the joy he brought to everyone.
