Syracuse, Indiana - Kenlyn Kay Arnott, age 88 of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, April 22, at Rittenhouse Village, Indianapolis.

Kenlyn was born on Aug. 12, 1937 in Milford, to Kenneth and Ethel (Bird) Calbeck.

She was a 1955 graduate of Nappanee High School and went on to attend International Business College in Ft. Wayne.

On Aug. 26, 1957, Kenlyn married R. Jackson Arnott in Nappanee. Together they lived most of their lives in the Nappanee area before retiring to Syracuse. Jack preceded Kenlyn in death on Feb. 7, 2014.

Kenlyn had attended the First Mennonite Church in Nappanee.

Throughout her life, she had a love for music; and she enjoyed attending plays and the theatre.

Most of all, Kenlyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenlyn is survived by 2 sons, Greg (Kim) Arnott of Carmel, and Rick (Rebecca) Arnott of Fishers; 5 grandchildren, Kelly (Michael) Drew of Fishers, Michael (Anna) Arnott of Fishers, Megan (Thomas) Mackey of Noblesville, Madeline (Ryan Fifer) Arnott of Fishers and Michael (Erica) Shew of Indianapolis; 6 great-grandchildren, Mason, Jackson, Hayden, Parker, Grace, and Nora; and a sister, Susanna of Florida.

Kenlyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Arnott; grandson, Colin Arnott; daughter-in-law, Jo Anna Arnott; brother, Kenneth "Buster" Calbeck; and her sister, Rubywanda "Ruby" Wallace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, from 1-2:30 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:30 p.m., all at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
