Nappanee, Indiana - Keith Martin Ramer, 80, of Nappanee, passed away on April 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Esther's House, The Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.

Keith was born on Oct. 19, 1945, to Harvey and Selina Ramer.

He spent 50 years as a semi driver, including 30 years as a milk hauler, a career inspired by his upbringing on the family dairy farm east of Nappanee.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, attending tractor pulls, and eating at his favorite restaurants. He also valued his morning social club at Burger King and the many adventures and shenanigans with his lifelong friend, Kenneth Tener.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life for 39 years, Teri Ramer of Nappanee; five children, Brian (Nikki) Ramer of Wakarusa, Brad (Mary) Kidder of Nappanee, Brandi (David) Fulda of Upland, Donny (Teruko) Aleo of Nappanee, and Keith HL Ramer of Nappanee; nine grandchildren, Madison (Josh) Stenger, Zane (Kylie) Kidder, Ethan Ramer, Ella Ramer, Lucas Ramer, Aaron Fulda, Brooklyn Fulda, Ayaka Aleo, and Aubrey Fulda; one great-granddaughter, Romy Stenger; and four siblings, Ivan (Rachel) Ramer, Judy (Elam) Martin, Charles (Cathy) Ramer, and Charlotte (Verlin) Martin; brother-in-law, Clarence Hoover of Goshen; sister-in-law, Birdene Shirk of New Paris; father-in-law, Lewis Kidder; great-nephew, Owen Fell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Selina Ramer; his brother, Merle Ramer; his sister, Loretta Hoover; and his grandson, Keegan Kidder.

Visitation will be held from noon 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29; and a funeral service will start at 2 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Pastor Pete Ramie of Goshen Church of God will officiate; and burial will follow in South Union Cemetery.
