Jimmy Cecil Lambdin
Jimmy C. Lambdin, 70, Kalamazoo, Michigan and formerly of Goshen, Indiana and White Oak, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Ascension Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was born Jan. 7, 1950, in Duff, Tennessee.
Jimmy loved being a father and grandpa, and loved helping his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his time outside exploring on his four-wheelers, fishing, car shows and camping. He loved flea markets and garage sales and was always ready to make a trade. He enjoyed buying cars and having them restored. He ran a printing press at Duplex in Goshen for many years before moving back to Tennessee.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Griffith Lambdin; father, Walter Junior Lambdin; and brother, Danny "Dick" Lambdin.
He is survived by his son, James Lambdin and wife, Sylvia; daughter, Susan Lung; grandchildren, Paige Renee Lung and Bryce Davis; mother, Nan Ellen Davis Lambdin; brothers, Ralph Lambdin, the Rev. Jerry Lambdin and wife, Faith, Tommy Lambdin; sister, Judy Douglas and husband, Rodney; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel, Jellico, Tennessee
A funeral will begin at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home
Burial will follow in the Lambdin Cemetery (Sled Creek) Duff, Tennessee.
