Goshen, Indiana - Jerry L. Inbody, 90, of Goshen, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, at Majestic Care of Goshen.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1935, in Goshen, to Homer and Gladys (Bowman) Inbody.

Surviving are his children, Doug (Arminta) Inbody of Carmel, Terri Gibson of Elkhart, and Scott Inbody of California; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brett) Davis of West Layfette, Sam Inbody of Portland, Oregon, Christopher Gibson of Elkhart, and Jeri Hatcher of Noblesville; great-grandson, Liam Harmacinski of Noblesville; and a brother, Gene (Rebecca) Inbody of Goshen.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and a brother, Wayne Inbody.

After dedicating 38 years to Penn Controls, Jerry transitioned into a retirement defined by relaxation and ease.

His days were spent by casting a line, cruising on his motorcycle, or cheering on various sports teams.

He enjoyed spending time at the Goshen Moose Lodge #836.

In his later years, he would trade the Indiana cold for Florida winters and spent endless days on the golf course. But Jerry's favorite pastimes included testing his luck at a game of euchre and enjoying the close companionship of his brother, Wayne.

In accordance with Jerry's wishes, a cremation will be followed by burial at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.

A memorial will be scheduled for a future date.
