Jeffrey Allan Hile, 54, of Millersburg passed away at home on Friday, Aug.23, after an extended illness.

He was born on May 10, 1970 in Goshen to Eugene and Priscilla (Carpenter) Hile.

Jeff graduated from Fairfield High School in 1988 and held many jobs throughout the years.

He helped customers and clients in various roles at Target, Elkhart General Hospital, and Walmart, most recently.

He was an avid Pokémon chaser and model builder.

Jeff was a loving father, son, and uncle, known to many as the man with a blue beard.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Priscilla Hile of Millersburg; three sons, Jeffrey-Michael (Dylan Hamilton) Hile of Kalamazoo, MI, Brian Hile of Elkhart, and Benjamin Hile of Elkhart; former wife, Shawn Hendricks Hile of Elkhart; and nieces, Grace Wehri-Hile and Jorja Bourne, both of Millersburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Hile; and a sister, Jennifer Hile.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 1pm on September 15, 2024 at Sugar Grove Church, 58512 Old County Rd 17
