Jean A. (Cooper) Lovely Batchelor, 84, passed away Feb. 7, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1933, in Elkhart, to Newberry and Faye (Zaner) Cooper.
On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Milton Lovely. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1996.
On July 1, 2004, she married James Batchelor. He preceded her in death July 6, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by a son, David P. Lovely; two grandchildren; and 10 siblings.
Surviving are three children, Sandra (Rex) Crapo, Ronald Lovely, James (Candy) Lovely; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are three siblings, Virginia Jensen, Richard (Sally) Cooper and Nancy Peterson.
Jean was secretary-treasurer of Northside Auto Salvage for many years. She collected teapots, was an active gun enthusiast and loved her family very much.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Elkhart, with the service beginning at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Carpenter of Burr Oak Church, Ligonier.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
