Goshen, IN - Jackie "Jack" B. Lepird, 82, died on Wednesday, May 20, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born on March 6, 1944 in Fort Wayne, to Burl L. Lepird and Norma Jean (Franks) Lepird.
Survivors include a daughter, Missy (Jason) Osborn of Middlebury; a son, Jeff (Mary) Lepird of Milford; and six grandchildren, Jared Lepird, Hailey (Jared) Stair, Issac Lepird, and Leah, Jacob and Noah Osborn. Also surviving is a sister, Shirley Welborn; and a brother, Steve (Wendy) Lepird.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Werker.
A Ligonier High School graduate, Jack served eight years in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the Goshen and Elkhart D.A.V. and the American Legion in Ligonier.
He enjoyed long country drives, fishing and mushroom hunting.
According to Jack's wishes he will be cremated without additional services.
