Wakarusa, Indiana - Ida Mae Graybill, age 92 of Wakarusa, went to be with Jesus Thursday evening, Feb. 19, at The Waters of Wakarusa.

Ida Mae was born on Jan. 24, 1934 in Elkhart County, to Robert and Edith (Miller) Graybill.

Ida Mae lived most of her life in the Elkhart County area and later in North Manchester, Indiana.

She moved to Florida in 1999 and returned to Northern Indiana in 2016.

She worked for Mennonite Mutual Aid for 22 years.

She loved her Lord and was a faithful member of the Old German Baptist Church for over 50 years.

In her free time, Ida Mae enjoyed reading, watching television and playing word games. She loved her walks on the beach while in Florida and enjoyed finding sea shells as she walked the beach.

Ida Mae is survived by 2 brothers, Bruce Graybill and Brent Graybill, both of Goshen; sisters-in-law, Rachel Graybill of Wakarusa and Inez Graybill of Goshen; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, James Sheehy of Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Dennis and Merle Graybill; and a sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Arthur Blocher.

Visitation will be held from 2-4; and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee. Everett Wrightsman, Allen Royer, and Home Ministries of the Old Order German Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Old German Baptist Church Cemetery, Wakarusa.
