Middlebury, IN - Harry Wayne Yoder, 85, of Middlebury, passed away at 8:30 am on Tuesday, May 26, at Goshen Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born on November 1, 1940, in Pryor, OK, to Eli and Lydia Loreen (Stutzman) Yoder. On November 25, 1961, in Burton, OH he married Barbara Ann Gingerich, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters, Patsy (Jeff) Stauffer of Middlebury and Maria (Tom) Wogomon of Shipshewana; six grandchildren, Christopher (Kylee) Stauffer of Elkhart, Megan (Chandler) Bultemeier of Shipshewana, Alexander (Madison) Stauffer of Lafayette, Joshua (Emily) Wogomon of Goshen, Hannah (Jacob) Berkey of Middlebury, and Emma Wogomon of Shipshewana; five great-grandchildren, Reese Bultemeier, Madeline Stauffer, Lyla Berkey, Hunter Berkey, and Wesley Wogomon; one brother, Harvey (Arlene) Yoder of Nampa, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wayne Lee Yoder; sister, Mary Yoder; brothers, Daniel and Nelson Yoder. Harry enjoyed fishing, stock car and horse racing, was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved camping with his family. He and his wife spent their winters in Florida and made many memories together. He was a member of the former Forks Mennonite Church. He also worked as an Amish taxi driver and was well known throughout the community. Harry could fix almost anything and had a gift for solving problems. He was always there to lend a helping hand to others. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, May 29, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 30, also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Eugene Bontrager. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
