Goshen, IN - Grace Nicole Beard, 24, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 18.

She was born June 19, 2000 in Goshen to Marty and Kim (Carpenter) Beard.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her brother, Josh Beard of Goshen; her lifelong best friend, Addison King of Goshen, whose bond was as strong as sisters; uncles, Mike Beard of Goshen, Jon (Leslie) Carpenter of Charleston, West Virginia, Joey (Sherri) Ferrell of Sharon, West Virginia, Bernard Ferrell of Charleston, West Virginia and Dieter Geithner of Austin, Texas; and many cousins.

A 2018 graduate of Northridge High School in Middlebury, Grace found joy in her work creating custom jewelry at Rogers and Hollands Jewelers.

She embraced life with a unique enthusiasm, a quality evident in her cherished companions, her dog Shee and her cat Nyla, and her love for playing softball in her younger years.

Grace was known for her free spirit. She touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 22 from 1 until 5 p.m. and Monday, June 23 from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will follow at New Paris Cemetery.
