Goldie Edith Yoder, 79, Goshen, formerly of Millersburg, died at 6:33 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Courtyard Healthcare.
She was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Goshen, to Valentine and Lizzie (Christner) Miller.
On Feb. 14, 1959, she married Amos J. Yoder Sr., and they were married 60 years.
Surviving are her husband, Amos, Goshen; children, Joan Yoder, Bloomfield, New Mexico, Carl (Angie) Yoder, Millersburg, Ralph (Bonnie) Yoder, Bloomfield, New Mexico; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sarah Miller, Goshen, Arthur Miller, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Raymond Miller, Goshen.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son, David Yoder; and brothers, David Miller and Verlin Miller.
Goldie worked at Artisan Interiors, Middlebury, for many years.
She attended Clinton Frame Church, where she was active with Summer Bible School. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, playing cards and loved her church family and friends. Most of all, Goldie loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 13, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, with the funeral service following at 10:30 a.m., all at Clinton Frame Church, 63846 C.R. 35, Goshen. Clinton Frame Church Ministry will officiate. Burial will follow at Clinton Frame Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, South Bend.
Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, is handling arrangements.
