Gary Edgar Dale Obituary

Gary Edgar Dale of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on December 4th at the age of 82.

Born in Gary, Indiana, to Esther (nee Townsend) and Homer Dale, on August 22, 1941, Gary was an only child. His family moved all over the Midwest with his father's job as a steel worker.

Gary graduated from Indiana university with a degree in history and went on to become a salesman, working in the farming and funeral industries before retiring and driving the local trolley from Goshen to South Bend, Indiana areas. He always enjoyed meeting people and hearing their stories and his career choices allowed him to do that.

Gary was a beloved father to Rachael (Arik) Kadosh and would brag to anyone who would listen about her accomplishments in Los Angeles. He loved her husband, Arik and even took a liking to their cats when he would visit.

Before marrying Joy in 2003, he traveled from Chicago to Goshen to support Joy as she recovered from an accident. They loved each other very much and enjoyed traveling whenever they could.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be given to Northridge High School Dollars for Scholars program.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
