Goshen, IN - Elmer A. Wall, 96, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his home at Greencroft.

He was born October 30, 1929 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Abram and Mary (Hiebert) Wall.

On December 17, 1960 he married Winifred Mumaw in Elkhart. They enjoyed more than 62 years of marriage prior to her death in 2023.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Beth (Scott) Neufeld-Wall, St. Louis, MO; sons, Timothy (Zoann) Wall, Goshen and Loren (Dawn) Wall, Manhattan, Kansas; and six grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, Winifred, he was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret and Marjorie Wall, brother, Arthur Wall, and three grandson, Christian Wall, Christopher Wall and Nathaniel Wall.

Rev. Wall was a minister, and he and his wife served churches for over 40 years in Indiana, Ohio, South Dakoka, Illinois and Kansas. He served as interim pastor after retiring from full time ministry for Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, MI, Salem Mennonite Church, Freeman, SD, Providence Mennonite Church, Montgomery, IN and Eighth Street Mennonite, Goshen, IN. Elmer and Winifred were most recently members at Silverwood Mennonite Church, Goshen.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A 3 p.m. funeral will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Silverwood Mennonite Church.

A Graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Violett Cemetery.
