Eleanor "Jean" Mann, 85, passed away Feb. 23, at Waterford Crossing in Goshen.
She was born Jan. 1, 1934, in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, to Elmer and Lorena (Miller) Detwiler.
On Jan. 7, 1956, she married Dr. John Mann. He preceded her in death June 17, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, James Mann; six siblings, Bernice Schroeder, Esther Yoder, John Detwiler, Delbert Detwiler, Dale Detwiler and Carl Detwiler.
On Jan. 15, 2012, she married Calvin Graber. He survives along with son, Jay (Pamela) Mann; three grandsons, Caleb Mann, Joshua Mann, Noah Mann; and mother of grandsons, Laurel Mann; stepson, Jonathan (Phoebe) Graber; two stepgrandchildren, Ethan Graber and Abby Graber.
Jean received a bachelor's degree from Goshen College and a master's degree from Indiana University.
She retired from Ox Bow Elementary as a teacher and in her spare time enjoyed quilting, baking, traveling, biking and volunteering at the church.
There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 11 a.m. celebration of life service Saturday, March 2, at Creekside Church of the Brethren, Elkhart.
In lieu of flowers, send memorial contributions to Creekside Church of the Brethren's Mission and Outreach program.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
