Millersburg, Indiana - Millersburg - Edward J. Fortier, 91, died Monday, June 2, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Bernard and Frieda (Lange) Fortier.
He is survived by children, Steven (Kelly) Fortier, Apache Junction, Arizona, Edward B. (Deanna) Fortier, Goshen and Mary (Brian) Humphrey, Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise and Lori.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ragene (Schwartz) Fortier; and a daughter, Cheryl Miller.
Mr. Fortier was a self-employed entrepreneur.
He was an avid golfer and member of Maplecrest Country Club, Goshen Noon Kiwanis, Elks, Moose Lodge, and American Legion.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Ed served for three years as an aircraft mechanic.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
