Edna Irene Schrock
September 16, 1970 - March 23, 2026
Edna Irene Schrock, 55, of Goshen, died at 5:21 p.m. Monday, March 23, at Goshen Hospital, after a strong-fought battle with cancer for many years.
She was born Sept. 16, 1970, in Goshen, to Daniel T. and Kathryn Mae (Schrock) Schrock.
Surviving are seven brothers, David Schrock of New Paris, Jerry (Emma) Schrock of Goshen, Samuel Schrock of Commerce City, Colorado, Daniel Jr. (Lydia) Schrock of Cisne, Illinois, Raymond Schrock of Elkhart, twin brother Edwin Dean Schrock of Adolphus, Kentucky, Joseph Schrock of Aurora, Colorado; six sisters, Wilma Waterman of Rome City, Anna Schrock of New Paris, Miriam Hochstetler of Goshen, Sarah (Glenn) Miller of Goshen, Verna (Eli, Jr.) Helmuth of Goshen, Vera Woolf of Syracuse; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew; a niece; and a great-nephew.
Edna worked in hospitality many years prior to her illness. She had a servant's heart that enjoyed visiting others and helping them "fill in the gaps" of their busy lives, especially those who were less fortunate. She would often help them with chores or be a listening ear in hard times. She loved her family and would find unique ways to break down walls and build bridges in the relationships she cared dearly for. In her free time, Edna enjoyed nature, quilting, and spending time with her dog Max. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday March 28, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service on Monday, March 30, at Siloam Fellowship, 61616 C.R. 35, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastor Vern Hostetler. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
Memorials may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
