Edna H. Miller
Edna H. Miller, 87, Topeka, died at 4:20 a.m. Monday, March 23, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 3, 1932 in LaGrange County to Henry and Lydia (Troyer) Frye.
On Dec. 10, 1953 in LaGrange County, she married Freeman S. Miller and he died Oct. 4, 2011.
Surviving are six daughters, Esther (LaVern) Lambright, Topeka, Dora (Norm) Burkholder, Bourbon, Vera (Melvin) Hostetler, Nappanee, Freda (Delmar) Miller, Millersburg, Ruth (Vernon) Yoder, Shipshewana, Betty (David) Weaver, LaGrange; three sons, Glen (Ida) Miller, Goshen, Merle (Marilyn) Miller, Goshen, Calvin (Edna) Miller, Millersburg; 47 grandchildren; 123 great grandchildren; brother, Noah (Mary) Frye, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three grandchildren; four sisters, Susan Yoder, Katy Yoder, infant Lavina Frye and Ella Wingard; and four brothers, Joas, Elvie, Sam and Calvin Frye.
Edna was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Due to current national health concerns, the immediate family will be holding private visitation and funeral services. The community is encouraged to support the family by mailing sympathy cards to them at 6250 S. 900 West, Topeka. Services will be conducted by Bishop Perry Wingard Jr., and the home ministers. Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.
