Goshen, IN - Earl "Max" Strycker passed away peacefully in Goshen, on July 29, at the age of 92.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1933, in Goshen, to Peter Strycker and Ina C. (Hoover) Strycker.

Max married his beloved wife, Juline A. (Schellhaas) Strycker, on Sept. 3, 1961, in West Milton, Ohio. Together, they shared many years of love, family, and cherished memories.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juline; his parents; and his seven siblings.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Rohrer and Annette Buss; his four grandchildren, Nichole Rohrer, Tommy Rohrer, Tyler Buss, and Tia (Zachary) Closson; and his great-grandson, Crew. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Throughout his 92 years, Max was known for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the kindness and generosity he extended to others.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, where he found fellowship and community.

Max was also the owner of Pronto Door in Osceola, where he built lasting relationships through his commitment, craftsmanship, and service to his customers and community.

Max enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, where he found peace and enjoyment in nature. He also loved riding his motorcycle and the freedom it brought him. Some of his fondest memories were made traveling to Florida with his beloved wife, creating cherished moments together.

A graveside service will be held at West Goshen Cemetery on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 10:00 a.m. with military honors.
