Goshen, Indiana - Donald Rosezelle Jr., 83, Goshen, passed away on Thursday, July 16, at the Goshen Hospital.

He was born on May 29, 1943, to Donald and Christobel (Todd) Rosezelle Sr. in Goshen.

He married Tonnya Cripe on Oct. 6, 1967. The couple almost shared 20 years of marriage until her untimely passing on October 5, 1987.

Surviving are his children, Doug (Andrea) Rosezelle of Bristol; and Tricia Berry of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Cherie Ann Cozzi of South Bend; and Donabel (Charles) Schiltz of Elkhart.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Tonnya Rosezelle; and sisters, Janis Falcone and Paula Jean Browning.

After graduating from Goshen High School, Donald spent more than three decades working as an engineer for NIPSCO.

A deeply devoted family man, he cherished his loved ones above all else and found his greatest joy in his roles as a father and grandfather.

Throughout his life, he appreciated the beauty of simple pleasures, whether driving through the quiet countryside or spending a peaceful afternoon watching planes take off at the airport.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling and golfing, and he spent many meaningful hours giving back to his community as a hospital volunteer.

His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew him.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20, at Violett Cemetery, 2818 Violett Road, Goshen, Indiana 46526.
