Goshen, Indiana - Pastor Donald G. Mishler, 90 of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, May 2, at The Restoracy of Goshen. He was born on May 10, 1935 in Goshen to Manford and Miriam (Darr) Mishler.

On Dec. 5, 1954, he married Agnes L. (Grabill); and she preceded him in death on July 23, 2004.

Then on Aug. 12, 2006, he married Erma (Musser).

Surviving are his wife, Erma Mishler of Goshen; daughter, Londa (Russell) Parish of Goshen; son, Jonathan (Michele) Mishler of Syracuse; 3 grandchildren, Isaiah Parish, Cierra (Jamie) Salazar, and Chelsea Caudill; foster granddaughter, Izabella Hammond; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Legend, and Malachi; 2 stepchildren, Richard (Amy) Morris Jr. Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Melody (Thomas) Grubbs of Columbia, Pennsylvania; 7 step-grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie, Dwayne, David, Richard, Rylan, and Roen; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Gavin, Elaina, and Daniel; 2 sisters, Judy (Ron) Ferguson of Jasper, Alaska and Bonnie Herrman of Kimberling City, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and late wife, Agnes.

Don graduated from New Paris High School and continued his education at Goshen College.

He served as a pastor for more than 60 years, ministering at the Nazarene Church in Farmland, Indiana, as well as at Faith Fellowship of Elkhart County.

He is a member of the Journey Worship Center, Goshen.

A dedicated local farmer, he worked 120 acres and carried with him the discipline shaped by his service as a U.S. Army veteran.

His commitment to serving others reached far beyond his community, leading him to missionary work in China and Russia.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 8, at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St. Goshen, Indiana 46526.

Also, from 1-3 p.m. the next day, Saturday, May 9, before a 3 p.m. funeral service at Zion CC, located at 71691 CR 33, Syracuse, Indiana 46567.

Pastor Julian Bontrager will officiate the service; and burial will take place afterward at Greenwood Cemetery.
