Goshen, IN - Dewayne Ray Miller, 68, Goshen, (district: 62-3), died at 11:42 a.m. on Monday, June 29, after having a farming accident.
He was born on May 1, 1958, in LaGrange, to Orla D. and Betty J. (Bontrager) Miller.
On Aug. 29, 1979, in Topeka, he married Alma Yoder. She survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are four sons, Devon (Elaine) Miller of Goshen, Myron (Amanda) Miller of Millersburg, Gary (Doretta) Miller of Middlebury, Marcus (Elaine) Miller of Millersburg; three daughters, Betty (Jesse) Yoder of Shipshewana, Marla (John) Miller of Goshen, Regina (Joel) Yoder of Millersburg; 24 grandchildren; twin brother, Devon (Nettie) Miller of Shipshewana; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Miller of Shipshewana; two sisters, Kaylene (Elmer) Petersheim of Shipshewana, Ruth Ann (Daniel) Fry of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dewayne worked at County Line Laminating in Millersburg and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church, serving as the Deacon since April 23, 2006.
Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, and all day Wednesday, July 1, at the Devon and Elaine Miller residence, 10122 County Road 32, Goshen.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, at the same residence.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Faron Lehman, Home Ministers Ray Weaver and LaVon Stutzman, and Deacon Jesse Chupp.
Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is handling the arrangements.
