Middlebury, Indiana - Dennis "Denny" R. Stalter, 70, of Middlebury, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 10:05 pm on Thursday, November 27 at his residence. He was born on May 3, 1955, in Goshen, to Earl J. and LeAnna F. (Miller) Stalter. He is survived by his three sons, John (Anna) Stalter of Indianapolis, Andrew Earl (Happiness Lameck) Stalter of Pacifica, CA, Michael (fiancée, Alicia Cordova) of Goshen; "other" son, Tony Chapman of Middlebury; two sisters, Virginia Kramer of Middlebury, Darlene (Robert) Kujawski of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Richard (Nanette) Stalter of Middlebury. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Beverly and Carol Ann Stalter. Denny was a member of First United Methodist Church in Middlebury and was the co-owner and operator of Stalter Glass. He enjoyed skiing in his younger years and was an avid golfer. Denny loved being outdoors and driving his Corvette and was an 8-track collector. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 am on Saturday, December 13 followed by an 11:00 am Celebration of Life Service at First United Methodist Church, 720 S. Main St., Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor David Eaton. Memorials may be given to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
