Dean will be missed by everyone. He was a very sweet person and always had a smile on his face.
The following scriptures have given me hope. They are Revelation 21:3,4 and Isaiah 33:24. May these words bring comfort to Dean’s family.

Mr. Slagel was a teacher at Chamberlain Elementary, and I had him for reading. He was also my neighbor. He was always kind and generous. He allowed me to play on his property and cut through his yard on my way to a friend's house. His words were always encouraging and positive. I am thankful he was a part of my childhood. He made the world a better place.
